Tweet & email the U.S. Senators

I'm supporting Seventh Generation in their efforts to get unsafe chemicals off the shelves.

The Senate is likely to review the Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA), which regulates toxic chemicals, shortly after they return to Washington.
This is your chance to be heard! Join Seventh Generation, and other health and environmental advocates, in reaching out to your Senators to call for meaningful changes to the updated TSCA law.
Tell your Senator that any TSCA reform legislation must contain provisions that:
1) protects the rights of states to regulate toxic chemicals; 2) immediately gets the worst, most toxic chemicals off the market; and 3) prioritizes identifying and reviewing the most high-risk chemicals first.
It's unacceptable that legislation would be considered without these common sense elements. Tell your Senator that reform should only go forwards, not backwards.
Join us and our partners the Breast Cancer Fund to tell our leaders it's time for real toxic chemical reform.

Review of Seventh Generation Free & Clear Baby Wipes

I received a free sample of the Seventh Generation Free & Clear Baby Wipes for review. Opinions are 100% my own.
We used a couple of the wipes while at a family gathering for cleaning up kids hands, arms, and faces. The wipes held up well, didn't tear apart, and got the kids clean! Pleasant scent. We've also used them for poopy diapers. I usually used two for the job, but sometimes only needed one. Would certainly purchase again!

Review of Children’s Advil Sugar-Free Dye-Free

We received a free sample of Children’s Advil Sugar-Free Dye-Free through Smiley360.  Opinions are 100% my own.

We are trying to limit the amount of food dyes we eat and also to limit our intake of sugar.  We aren't always very successful, but I love that this Children’s Advil is sugar-free and dye-free.

We have 4 chilren, ages 5, 4, 2, and 9 months.  We aren't sick super often, but things do get passed around.
My children are always curious what is in the medicine box.  They were pleased to know there was a new bottle of Advil for when they aren't feeling well.  With it being sugar free and dye free, it was nice to be able to explain that this medicine is a healthier type.

We haven't needed to use our free sample yet, but we did use the same medicine about two months ago.  It seemed to work quickly to reduce the fever and my little ones felt better.

I like that we received coupons also to pass out to family and friends.

Review of Mr. Sketch Scented Markers from Smiley360

We received a set of Mr. Sketch Scented Markers, the Mr. Sketch Holiday Stix 6ct pack, and a $5 WalMart giftcard to get more markers for free through Smiley360.  They were the first set of scented markers my children have used.  They were excited to have fancy new markers to use when doing Christmas projects.  No surprise, my two girls loved the purple Sugar Plums the most.  Also no surprise was that they liked the black Chimney scent the least.  Though, the chimney smell didn't deter them from using the marker.  It added an element of fun to be able to experience the various smells when drawing.

I like that this style of marker isn't very wide, nor very thin.  It's in the middle.  It was wide enough for my little children to be able to color in drawings, yet also draw pictures easily.  I like that the package obviously shows the scents, without having to search for where it's stated.  I like the colors of the markers.  They worked well and didn't dry out immediately.
My three critics approved of the fun markers!  Ages 5, 3, and 2.  =)
