I Won! Little Girls - Big Style

Woo hoo! I won the Little Girls - Big Style pattern book! It has 23 projects in sizes 2-6. I'm excited to be able to make my nieces Caroline and Marian a cute outfit or two! Unfortunately, the other three nieces will probably be out of the size range, but that's not to say it can't be modified to be a little bigger!

And super excited to make some outfits for our new baby due in January! Granted, she won't be in size 2 for a couple years, but that gives me some time to get past the baby stage and be able to sew again!

Thank you so much for offering this giveaway! It is something I probably would not have been able to try without this opportunity.

The Crafty Nest - Woombie giveaway

The Woombie is a type of swaddler that zips up instead of wrapping a blanket. It looks like a really neat idea and I would love to try this with the new baby in January! With Ronan, we didn't really swaddle much, and I'm not sure if it would have benefitted him had we tried more. He didn't really seem to like it much.
But, I would love to have this option for the new one! It looks much easier than wrapping a blanket!

Familylicious - Book: There's Going to be a Baby

Familylicious is giving away a book titled: There's Going to be a Baby. I think this would be perfect for Ronan!
I don't think he really understands when we say there's a baby in mommy's tummy. But, I do think the book would help him begin to realize that things will be different when baby is born and around the house.

Familylicious - Early Engineers Busy Day giveaway

Ronan would love this set! He loves to put things together (ex: the train track) and put the little train on it and make it go. He would love playing with all the little 'gadgets' that the set does.

I like that it is able to be connected to the other Early Engineer sets too - great way to expand! =)

Familylicious - Savvy Rest Shredded Latex Pillow Giveaway

I've never had good luck with picking out a pillow I like. They're usually too firm, or get too floppy too soon. There's always something! I'm just not good at deciding what I think I like in the store. That, and really, how can you tell just standing there squishing them without being able to lay your head on it.

I'd love to win the Savvy Rest Shredded Latex Pillow giveaway. It is really neat that you can adjust the level of squishiness. And it sounds like a good healthy option!

Oh, I'd sure love a new pillow!! =)

My Silly Monkeys giveaway - Spin and Go Mop

I just plain old hate mopping. There's trying to keep everyone out of the kitchen till you're done and it's dry (and attempting to keep it clean for at least a few hours instead of instantly getting spilled on). For the quick mop thing I have currently, I'm out of disposable pads (so it doesn't get used much anymore) - AKA: disposable pads are annoying to have to continue buying. For the non-disposable mop heads, there's the hand washing of those, or hand squeezing.

I'd love to try the Spin and Go mop! It looks much more user friendly! I think it would motivate me to get the floors washed more often (and maybe some walls too)! With moving soon, it would be PERFECT for the initial cleaning! And we'll have less carpet over there too...

I'd love to win the Spin and Go mop!!

My Silly Monkeys giveaway - Feeding Chair

With a new baby on the way, and Ronan getting bigger, a booster seat option would be wonderful! Not only does this miSwivel Feeding Chair work well with smaller babies (ex: after the new baby is old enough to sit up at the table), but it can be used as a booster seat too (ex: for Ronan).

Another feature I love.... it's small enough to bring with! We've never brought our regular high chair with us when visiting family (and there has been numerous instances where it certainly would have been helpful!). It does fold down a tiny bit (enough to fit in a closet), but it is still quite large and bulky. It would be so nice to have the option of grabbing the smaller seat! Perfect for restaurants too!

I really like that we would be able to use it for either Ronan or the new baby.

Heck, and who can't resist an infant/children's chair that is designed to avoid "crumb cracks", and has reversible, easy to clean fabric (machine washable), and dishwasher safe tray.

I'd sure love to win one!! =)

I won the UV Skinz giveaway! I am so excited! We choose the Brown Aloha Collection shirt and shorts. I can't wait for them to arrive - they will be perfect for Ronan this summer.

Familylicious - UV Skinz giveaway

We would looooove to win the giveaway for the UV Skinz clothing! Their website: http://www.uvskinz.com/

They have UV protection clothing for children. This would be very helpful for Ronan this summer! I hate to slather him in sunscreen constantly, and if he can wear clothing that protects him, (and use little or no sunscreen), then that is awesome!

Table for Five - Yummi Gummy Vitamins giveaway

We haven't quite started a routine of vitamins for Ronan, but it's something we should probably start sometime soon.
The Hero Nutritionals Yummy Bears seem like a great solution. I'm quite certain that Ronan would gobble them up (and want more). They're gummy bears (mmmmmm), and I love that they don't have the artificial flavors and colors.

Table For Five giveaway - Wrap-N-Mat

It would be wonderful to have an option for sandwiches in lunches and picnic type lunches for something that is both the packaging and a placemat to keep food clean. The Wrap-N-Mat is a neat idea!

Table For Five giveaway - Dr bloom chewable jewels

Ronan has past the stage where everything goes into his mouth. But, he still likes to taste lotsa things!
It would be really neat to have a chewable necklace that I could wear to help keep him entertained for those times when he needs to be more quiet (ex: church), and also something to fiddle with when he's nursing.
Of course, it would also be super nice for the next baby!

I Won! Seventh Generation

I don't usually win things. And I'll admit, because I don't usually win, sometimes I don't bother trying to enter! (which of course, obviously means you can't win)

I won on My Silly Monkeys blog! I won the Seventh Generation cleaning pack.

Thank you blog mama for doing the giveaways!

And, not only did I win, BUT the package even came today!

I am so excited to try the cleaners out! They clean naturally with the disinfecting power of Thyme. So... non-toxic! and environmentally friendly. Wahoo! Gonna try 'em out at the new place!

I like to be environmontally friendly and save $$ when possible. I have made some of our own laundry detergent and made our own lotion bars.
I love this alternative dishwashing soap! Would love to try it out!

Familyicious giveaway - Tropical Traditions Coconut Flakes

I love coconut! It's a great addition to desserts and has a fun tropical taste.

It's not something we normally have on hand. I suppose we don't normally buy it unless we have a recipe that specifically calls for it.

How yummy would it be to have it on hand just as a snack! Just as plain ol' coconut! Yumm!

Cloth Diaper Report giveaway - Sodastream

I would love to try the Sodastream! It would be nice to be able to make our own pop, save a little $$, and not have to buy pop at the grocery store, haul it home, and find somewhere to store it.

While I'm not a huge pop drinker, my DH is. I'd rather he not drink quite as much, but, hey, there could be worse things!

I heard about Sodastream on the radio months ago - So, it's not completely new to me. But, I haven't seen it in person and am quite intrigued.

Familyicious giveaway - Simplisse Breast Pump

I've made the comment to my DH numerous times... Why aren't breastpumps better? Why aren't they designed to be more like a baby nursing? Is it really so much to ask?
I'm certainly no inventory! But, I've spent numerous hours daydreaming of the "perfect pump".

I don't know if Simplisse has all the answers, but they certainly seem closer than some!

Visit Familylicious for the Simplisse Manual Breast Companion:

My Silly Monkeys giveaway - Rockin Green Soap

Rockin Green soap is the only cloth diaper friendly detergent that I know of that has a specific solution for hard water. We live rurally and have hard water, so this would be really nice to try out. The Classic formula works well, but I do feel like I use "too much" for each load. The Hard Rock formula is 'made for us'!

My Silly Monkeys giveaway - Seventh Generation

We try to recycle, use more of what we already have, find cheaper alternatives, etc, etc.
When we do buy cleaning products, I do like to get the environmentally friendly versions, especially non-toxic with having a little one!

Who doesn't need more cleaning supplies?! I know we certianly could use a good spring cleaning, and what better motivation than winning some great supplies!

Dirty Diaper Laundry giveaway - Simplisse Manual Breastfeeding Companion

I have been pumping since a few weeks after Ronan was born. I'm proud to say he was exclusively breastfed for his first six months, and hasn't ever had formula. In order to accomplish that, I've needed to pump while at work.
I first started with the Avent dual electric breastpump. Worked well. But, wanted something that was more customizable to me and less bulk.
Now, I'm using the Ameda Purely Yours dual electric pump. It also works well. But, there are several features I wish it had.
For all the pumps I've tried, manual and electric, they're never very comfortable. It's not a fun task.

I would loooove to try the new Simplisse pump. It looks like a new approach that would better mimic the baby.

Dirty Diaper Laundry Giveaway - Rockin Green Hard Rock

We've been using Rockin Green Classic Rock laundry detergent for our cloth diapers for several months (since the Black Friday sale they had last fall). I really like how well it works, but I feel like I need to use a lot in order to get them clean, cuz we have hard water. Sooo, it's harder to justify financially.
But, would reallly love to try the Hard Rock formula! Sounds like it would be "the solution"!
